Samsung has started the process of distributing Android 7.0 Nougat to its Galaxy Tab S2 tablet. This tablet debuted last year running version 5.1.1 Lollipop, and an upgrade to version 6.0 Marshmallow was introduced last summer.

So far, the Nougat upgrade is only available in a couple of European countries, but a broader rollout is expected in the coming weeks. Worldwide availability isn't expected until the end of next month, though.

A major feature in the Galaxy Tab S2's upgrade is the replacement of Samsung's side-by-side multitasking system with Google's own, which debuted in version 7.0.

Based on the Sammy website, all 12s have GPS, and none of the 10s have GPS.

Is it still worth buying the tab S2 over the tab S3? Big difference in price and the tab S3 is still not available where I am at the moment.
