Sorry, I have nothing useful to add about Android or Linux on the GB. :)

HI i can understand you want to install android on it but the windows custom version does not seem too very useful seems more oriented for desktop or gaming rig
I have the 8Go/256Go GB LTE vesion with windows pro and runs already well enough and there is a game mode if you want extra performance

if you don't need gaming performance or video streaming from android, i think you can use something like windows on dex solution ...streaming for your phone on your pc...

Only trouble is the fan albeit discreet always on my Galaxy book

For android the best solution is still to buy a separated device unfortunately.

The usb c port of my GB10 just died partly: charging is always possible, but impossible to connect any device like a usb key or a usb hub. I can plug in, of course, but no access to the data or connection with something connected to the hub.
    Someone have any idea ?

I will probably buy a Go. what a pity, no successor from Samsung to the GB10. I will loss the feeling of the spen.
And what a pity, no successeur from Microsoft to the Go. What are they doing?

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling your port driver?

given the superior pen of the Galaxy Book, and it’s superior Core m3 processor.......unless 8GB of Ram is the make or break factor.....I would honestly go on eBay or amazon and just buy another Galaxy Book 10 instead. I have both the Galaxy Book and Go.....if it came to needing to replace one of them....the Book 10.6 wins hands down.

I was often limited by the 4GB of the GB10.
I hope I will not be too disapointed by the GO

I was experiencing severe black crush on my Galaxy Book 12 with videos. I could defeat it via MadVR and setting custom black levels rather than TV or PC. However, it still meant my Netflix experience was ruined and battery life took a massive hit with MadVR.

Tried everything with the intel driver settings to no avail. Eventually uninstalled the latest drivers and the black crush problem has gone away.

Which driver version are you on now, that fixed the black crush problem?
