Hi fotd, sorry for bothering you again.

In the end, I've settled with using the Cinema Mode all the time (I have somewhat reduced color perception, and Cinema Mode is the only way I see decent colors without having the impression of looking through a dirty glass).

If you have time, would you have a color profile for Cinema Mode (standard 100% brightness, D65 color temperature) to share? These months I've been scouring the web for Galaxy Book profiles, but there's basically nothing (as far as I could find).

Thank you once again for the Basic and Photo profiles you previously shared.

    Hey.

Has anyone succeeded in remapping the "pen button click and drag on screen" action?

Its default behavior is apparently "eraser" in any applications, and I was trying to get it working like Wacom "pan and scroll" behavior.

I read through this thread and found the "pen button click while hovering", "pen button long press while hovering", and even "pen cursor flicking while hovering" remapping script (http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/thr...-discussion-thread.71795/page-375#post-528538 and http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/threads/samsung-galaxy-book-discussion-thread.71795/page-223), but had no luck finding that particular action.

"Pan and scroll" behavior, for Clip Studio that I use, is "Hold spacebar while dragging with the pen".

Don't need to be a complete .ahk file, just the simple workthrough on how can I modifty the existing script file would be really appreciated.

    Thanks!

The fact is that ahk and ahkhid do not block the input, so actions like "pen button click and drag on screen" that already have a default behaviour (usually eraser, indeed) cannot be remapped. You could make "pen button click and drag on screen" act as eraser AND something else at the same time, but that doesn't seem very useful ;-)

(For the same reason the scripts earlier in this thread must be used once you setthe pen button action no "None" in the Galaxy Book Settings app.)

Welp, that's a bummer. Thanks for the well laid out answer though (and for your script too!)

I've been using a refurb 4GB Tab Pro S for a couple of years and looking to upgrade to a Book 12. I think the 8GB/256 model should be able to handle my light 2K video editing needs. What's a good price range for a used or refurb with those specs?

I'm going to need a backup charger once I get it. Anybody found a better solution than buying the OEM replacement from Samsung?

    Thanks!

    Hey.

Turns out that my drawing tool (Clip Studio) supports different APIs to get pen inputs, and one of them (I forgot which was it) does not use "pen button click and drag on screen" as eraser function, which means I can remap that!

I might as well try to make a .ahk script on that. Could you give me some basic lead on how to begin writing such a script? I'm using your script right now and it works so well that I think you are THE one to ask about this.

    Thanks a lot.

See my mini-review of the Nekteck 72W (60W PD) charger:

    http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/thr...-discussion-thread.71795/page-393#post-533732

Probably any PD charger of 60W or higher should do.

You can get a used GB12 8GB 256GB for about $500-700US on eBay.

There's a whole thread just for you:

    http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/threads/toolbar-creator-v-2-2-beta-available-for-download.63014/

The finished tool can probably do what you want and much more.

If you want to learn how to code for AHK, (easier than you'd suspect!), check out the original thread where a bunch of us were chipping in to help lblb create the final tool. There's tons of useful info all aimed squarely at making tablets work better:

I really should only get credit for the multiple-press and flick functionality... Have you tried the original script mine was based on? see here: http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/thr...-discussion-thread.71795/page-370#post-527995

That one should work for your purposes (I believe there were people using it with Clip Studio).
