Yes, it holds just like the $500 MontBlanc one!

Was wondering how many have this issue with the GB12. It is definitely an issue I can replicate on mine.

Looking through the official Samsung community boards, the only solution was to get a firmware update on the keyboard, which apparently only a Samsung service center can perform. And of course... the two US centers know nothing about this, the only person on that forum that got the firmware installed did it in a service center in Italy and it only took a few minutes.

Was wondering if anyone else had a solution aside from turning off the backlight?
Also, does this happen on all the GB12 keyboards? Does this occur on the ones with Windows Pro installed?

My Staedler pen just arrived. I like the pressure sensitivity.

DStrauss is right about it being a bit long. 2 complaints:
    1. Needs a button on the barrel.
    2. Too thin to write for long periods.

    Serviceable backup stylus.

Well........this just happened today. Was using the Staedler Norris Pencil with my Note 8 Phone over the weekend, and I left the Pencil in one of my cargo shorts pockets. Forgot about it till today.....reached into the pocket to get it.....and yeah.....somehow from then to now it snapped. I remember when I first got the Staedler....among my first impressions was the concern that it felt enough like a real pencil that it could be possible to break it just as easy as a real pencil. Well.....consider that theory now proven to fact.

But despite losing its bottom half........the Pencil still works......the majority of the pencil must just be filler & fluff.

Is it more comfortable to use in that size? Maybe you can attach an eraser to the broken end then go surprise people at Starbucks or something. :D
