    It doesn't mess it up.

The other setting (csenabled i think) messes it up. Makes the computer hibernate when you want it to standby, but this change doesn't seem to have an effect on it.

I remember running a program like this on an old computer and it worked flawlessly. I've been thinking about trying to hunt it down again.

So I'm assuming the steps you linked to above worked for you in Win10? Did you have to jump through any particular hoops to get it working?

    EDIT...

I figured it out. On my version of Win10 which comes with the Notebook 9 Pro...

    Do this:
Now you have additional power settings available.

I set the max CPU usage on mine to 50% when on battery to see what that was like. -It works; in task manager on the performance reporting, the CPU throttles down to half the available clock speed.

In Clip Studio Paint I noticed zero discernible difference in performance when penciling and inking.

I think I may have just increased the battery life. Neat-o.

Wow! Now power plan settings are working
With that command we disable the Windows InstaGO that is a smart version of Sleep Mode.
Like when device is in sleep, u can still receive notifications.
But i dont need that so ive just using like u with value 0.
Also what i would like to say is to optimize our ssd putting value 0 (never) on hard drive power plane settings.
Also uncheck indexing from proprietiers of the drive

Big thing i cannot now put the GB in sleep, and wake him up. Idk why!
    Someone know how to fix??

I have notre tried, so perhaps I am wrong.
Probably because sleep is what you have disable.
But you can configure the on/off button to hibernate or shutdown.

The problem is that the setting to turn all the advance power modes at onces also messes with the standby mode, the link i posted was to only unlocking the clock speed control. It doesn't effect the other settings or break standby.

I've tried them both, the csenabled is no good, you're better off enabling one thing at a time so that it doesn't break something.

    Good to know.

For my part, I find I don't use sleep, and instead just have it set to hibernate when I close the lid. The recovery time is fast enough for my needs and I like the idea that power isn't trickling away while I do other things.

@thatcomicsguy --- interesting about hibernation only.

@ everyone w/ a GB12 --- has anyone tried that setting? I've been shutting my machine down due to concern about the machine not staying asleep --- hibernation seems a good compromise. Thoughts?

I confirm. This is best way :).
Also i would like to know your opinions, on getting a trasparent screen protector cause im afraid of a 1year or 2 year of pen strokes on the screen, it would be scratched.
Let me know what do you think
