Thats interesting regarding the 12-inch model......especially since for the more powerful Notebook 9.....Samsung outright advertised them using a power bank to charge it on the go.

By chance have you tried any of the dedicated Samsung Power Banks? Mine work great on my 10.6 Book.....and one is Micro USB and the other USB-C.

Would you mind checking the power input in Watt on the tablet and what's the max output for tha Samsung power bank?
I was tempted buying it before getting the Anker but honestly it's priced outrageously high for a 10500mhA battery.

Interesting - also noticed the decreased battery life after the recent update on the 10.6. Were you able to successfully uninstall the driver update?

My Samsung USB-C Charger that came with the Book 10.6 says

    Input/Entrée: 100-240V – 50-60Hz 0.70 A
    Output/Soltie: 5.0-9.0 V = 2.0A

    Now my USB-C Fast Charge Battery Pack….the 10,200 mAh/ 37.74 Wh says

    Input: 5.0 V --- 2.0 A 9.0 V --- 1.67 A 12.0 V – 2.1 A
    Output: 5.0 V --- 2.0 A 9.0 V --- 1.67 A 12.0 V – 2.1 A (same in as out spec)

And my other….the Micro USB Fast Charge Battery Pack 5200 mAh/ 19.76 Wh says

    Input: 5.0 V -; 2.0 A
    Output: 5.0 V -; 2.0 A 8.5-9.5 V --- 1.67 A

Basically, the 10.6" version uses less power than the 12" inches to charge: your wall charger is a 18W, mine is a 30W.
Interestingly, your 10200mAh battery with its 25 Watt output should be able to charge the 12" too while working. :)

I was unsuccessful. Despite using System Restore to uninstall the recent updates, Connected Standby still drains battery. I wonder if it's due to some firmware or bios update that cannot be undone. I've now set my tablet to Hibernate after 60 minutes--the good thing is that it only takes about 7-8 seconds to come out of Hibernate.

With my GB10, connected standby is around 1% to 1.5% per hour.
it is not the best, but it is not the worst.
Even before any update, I was never at 0.3 to 0.5%.

Yeah, the recent firmware update on my GB12 seems to have made the battery life much worse in standby. Last night at 17:30 battery was on 85%. This morning 9:00 and it is 38% when it was in aeroplane mode. That is a lot worse than it used to be,

It is probably because one software did not allow your gb to sleep. Try the same experiment, but just before going to sleep : reboot, login, wait few minutes, do not start a software, sleep the gb. And tell us tomorrow the result.

I need the GB all day tomorrow without a power source so I will have to plug it in overnight. I will try another night though.
