I didn't see any information posted of the difference of the model numbers for the Samsung ATIV Smart PC. If this was already mentioned and I missed it, I can delete this post. I won't post the specs since all will be the same, just posting what the other models have as extra.

    XE500T1C-A01US comes with the following:
    • Keyboard dock.
    • Possible GNSS

XE500T1C-A02US appears to be the white color version comes with the following:
    • Keyboard dock.

    XE500T1C-A03US comes with the following:
    • Keyboard dock.
    • GNSS.
    • NFC.
    • WiDi.

XE500T1C-A04US which is just the tablet and comes with the following:
    • No extra radios are included or any extra features.

Mobile: Thanks for this posting. I modified it slightly so that no one confuses this with the XE700T...

The one sold from Amazon is the XE500T1C-A01US. I just got it into the mail yesterday. I really wished Samsung listed every model with the specific hardware specs. It makes not sense why they would sell two different models for the same price with one have worse specs.

I know my A01US has a toggle for NFC under the Windows settings. The Samsung updater is even trying to install the newest NFC driver, but it fails. I really do assume that it doesn't have NFC. IDK if it's worth returning the unit to get NFC and WiFi.

I'm still happy with the A01US, but Samsung did a poor job with this product launch.

I have the A02US, white with no keyboard. I also have the NFC option in windows settings but the driver won't install from the samsung updater.

I was going to order this but does the XE500T1C-A01US include a S-Pen in the box?

I have a XE500T1C-A03Usand can confirm that is correct. the Broadcom gps works quite well with centrafuse localizer. I don't know how to test widi but I am sure it probalbly will work.

I have the XE500T1C-HA1USS... no S-pen, ATT service, and seems a lot slower and sluggy (if that's a word) than my old
XE500T1C-A04US. No idea why. I updated the A0-4US one to 8.1, but am afraid to do the same with the new one. Any suggestions?

Also, I'm going to change to another provider ...other than ATT that is.. and need to find the settings for the access points. Do you know how to change? That's assuming that ATT will unlock the tablet or that an unlock service can provide me with the unlock code.

why did you get XE500T1C-HA1USS? that a bad move. good luck getting at&t to unlock it. also there's no true working gps in that or at least i could nver got it to work properly with centrafuse localizer. Also no stylus..

i bought XE500T1C-HA1USS unknowing and regret it. bought a XE500T1C-a03US and much happier now.... true working broadcom gps, stylus. i tether to my phone so 4g modem in tablet is not needed anyway

that said. i still have the XE500T1C-HA1USS and both have clean 8.1 installled and there seems to be no slowdown for me,

Am really happy with it now. Found that it didn't need to be unlocked... just needed to change the settings.. works fine on Consumer Cellular now. Got all the updates installed for Win 8.. had to do them almost individually so took forever! 110 updates!! Installed 8.1 with no difficulty and now everything works perfect. I have another tablet with an SPen and find that I rarely use it so wasn't looking for a tablet with one. I'm still not happy with Windows....wish it was Android like my Samsung NOTE 8.0 N5100 (this one's my phone too), but I'm getting used to it. It's great for watching movies, sending Netflix, Hulu, etc. to my TV on Chromecast, and I can use full versions of several of my windows programs that I use daily. Actually a better tablet than I expected. You just have to know how to do the workarounds!

can you tell me the workaround so i can maybe use it without getting at&t to unlock it? i am still not happy about HA1 as it doesn't seem to have true gps.
