    Typical crap quality. No device should fail the 3 ft drop to concrete test, I don't care if it is the "budget model" :D

    Btw, I don't want to increase your pain, @Bishop , but I would like to use this opportunity to tout the homeowners'/renters' insurance option for laptops and tablets (they won't cover phones anymore); it's by far the cheapest "ADH" insurance you can get - and they usually let you keep your dismembered device, usually just have to get a repair shop to give you a repair estimate that exceeds 60% of original/replacement cost, or less if older model.
