    Ask for a manager or supervisor - they should cover these under warranty regardless of where purchased.

    Finally I got my new Stylus! I made a short hands-on video with the VP8, also tried it with the VP11 - the results were the same.

    Nimh batteries are rechargeable. Alkaline AAAA's are not.

    The Target nearest to me doesn't even have alkaline AAAA's. This city takes an over to drive from top to bottom, and over an hour to drive from east to west, and a few hours to drive from corner to corner. It's not worth wasting more gas or time running around town trying to find them. I've long since given up on fooling around with that. At best I'll call local stores, but service is usually so awful that I'd rather spend less and buy it online.

    Ah, got it--and ain't modern customer service great? ;)

    One thing to keep in mind: NiMH batteries typically are of slightly lower voltage--this could affect the workability.

    Also, at least one person here has mentioned both Walmart and Radio Shack as AAAA sources.
