Does the hover distance seem any better?

- If you use onenote, and hover the stylus over the page for say 60 seconds. Does it register any 'dots of ink'?
The old stylus would usually draw a few dots here and there.

- if you remove the nib and place it back in, at various pressures. ie lightly push it in, vs a solid push. any difference?

Google cache to the rescue.. minus the pics. Overall it sounds like the new and improved version is more new than improved. To be continued I hope!

 

what I really want to know is will Dell allow us guys that got the first version that sucks and replace them with the better one? if not I would be pissed...

 

As someone who saw the post before it was taken down... holy crap! I had the stylus and the Dell Venue 8 when they first came out. They were atrocious.

Those screenshots look good enough for me to not worry about WACOM.

 

I was able to see the google cache. Seems like nothing much has changed with the stylus. Even if it is a test unit, there should have been some improvement. Still hover clicking? Jeez... I may get an Asus Note 8 when it comes out in the US.
