Yes. I downloaded the Windows 8.1 drivers from https://www.asus.com/us/Tablets/ASUS_VivoTab_Note_8_M80TA/HelpDesk_Download/
Select Window 8.1 from the drop down. Select "Expand All." The Wacom drivers are the first on the list under Other.

I have now tried four different Wacom drivers. Two didn't work at all, and two gave a few seconds of pen recognition. It feels like I'm missing something.

    My cables are already fixed.
The 8.1 driver doesn't work at all. Maybe it is because I have the 1803 Win 10.
Mine has been bricked for six months, and now that I finally got the time to deal with it, the only version of Win 10 MS offered is off course the latest. More than anything I wish I could downgrade to 8.1
There are some versions of that floating around, but they all send me to places I don't trust.

I just realized that I might have committed a huge mistake during the upgrade process. After the Win 10 installation I installed different drivers. One of those might have been my Surface Wintab driver. Shouldn't be on a Wacom Asus device. But now I'm stumped as to how I uninstall it. Doesn't show up in Device Manager (as far as I can see).

Found Control Panel by going through Cortana. And there was the Wintab driver. Regular UWP Setup doesn't recognize its existence.

32GB models does come with a card, 64GB models don't.

Have you tried manually updating via Windows Update Catalog, including the I2C driver from Intel?

I did a clean install of Win 10 a while back and didn't use any drivers provided by Asus or Wacom, pen still working.
