My father is 56 and wants to replace his 10 year old desktop computer with a tablet. Hes not computer illiterate but really only uses the computer to download music browse the internet and play solitaire so I don't think its too much of a stretch. Will buying him a tablet be a practical move and what tablet do you recommend? I dont know too much about tablets myself, I'm happy with my laptop, so can anyone tell me if there are accessories available that will make the use of a tablet instead of a computer easier (attachable keyboards, external harddrives, external disk drives). Thank you for the advice!
