Removing Digitizer TX1000

    It looks and sounds like the glass under the passive screen film is cracked. If that is the case you may have to replace the entire panel.

    the entire panel?you mean just the glass or all the screen itself?I'm form spain and i knoe that hp repairs you whatever you have for exactly 425 euros more or less 650$ pick up transport included.I would prefer to buy a new one rather to pay that.I'm thinking about to open it and try to take out the broken glass.What will happen?will i see anything?is it posible to get another glass?where and how much?i dont care if i have not touchscreen anymore

    After looking at it some more it seems pretty much straight forward. Kind of plug and play almost. (a risk non the less)
