    Hello all,
As we all know the TouchSmart tx2 pen doesn't have an eraser and the button on the pen is bound to right click.
Is it possible to change this so I can use the button on the pen as an eraser?
If I could do this for One Note alone I would be ecstatic.

I don't have the tx2 so i don't know if this will work but on the tx2500 I can change what the button does in "Control Panel>Tablet Properties" in the "Pen" tab.

Unfortunately for me, the only option I have for the pen button is:
"Use the pen button as a right click equivalent"
This may be due to the fact that I am using Windows 7.
Are there any external programs I can use or anything of that sort?
Is it possible to modify OneNote's button mapping scheme?

Try downloading the trial version of ATN Key Manager. It maps button inputs and allows you to reprogram them by program. Might work. It's atleast worth a try.

Google kept directing me here last night when I wondered how to do this when I did a reinstall of my tablet with an ntrig stylus, as I'd liked using the pen as an an eraser in MsOneNote. The whole use the eraser where available thing.. If your touchsmart is using the Ntrig stylus this might work:

The Downloads & Drivers - N-trig NAct setup has this duosense digitizer.. so if that works out, after an install in control panel in hardware management, there's an Ntrig duodigitizer settings panel
and then in the Pen tab you can customize the button.

Hey, thanks for the info, sakana-rin, but can you post what tablet and which version of the driver and n-act you're using? Also, what version of Windows are you on (including 32- or 64-bit)? Thanks!

I'm on an HP Touchsmart tx2 with Windows 7, 64-bit, and pulled down the latest software from n-trig:

    Driver - 2.239
    N-Act - 1.26.0

I'm not seeing the options you're showing in the screenshots. (Thanks for including them, though!) I'm trying to get the pen button to switch to eraser mode.
