    If it were a 'larger screen' in physical dimentions then yes, it would take more battery power.
    But one resolution to another should have no effect on battery consumption.

    I'm still going on the idea of 'why' rather than 'if'.

    Hopefully I'll have an update later in the day. :)

    There is no point in looking on the Fujitsu US site. They have a completely different Sales model to FUJITSU SIEMENS who sell in Europe. The US can configure their variants completely differently.

    If that bulk thing is correct, maybe we can get Barry J. Doyle to order 50 SXGA+ fujitsus and resell them to us? :)
