I just got my R1F today. It seems that for some unknown reason the screen will no longer rotate when I flip to tablet mode. When I reinstall the display drivers and reboot it will work but as soon as I reboot again it does not work again.

The only modifcations I have made to the base install are:

Removed Norton AntiVirus & Norton Internet Security
    Removed TPM Stuff
    Flashed BIOS ver 308

    Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, but with the latest gma divers not anymore

with display drivers you mean the latest gma 950 drivers?
and maybe, do you have installed the tablet pc experience pack which lets you write on the desktop? it blocks the rotation

that are the only things i can think of

I think wouter is suggesting that you install the latest drivers from support.intel.com. I know that fixed my problem.

I was having the same problem. I took Fido's suggestion and updated the intel drive the PV14.25...seemed to fix it for me

    Same problem here.

If all else fails you can Create a shortcut to theTablet and Pen settings dialog in the control panel on your desktop. this is roundabout, but it does Provide rotation support.

I'm downloading the intel drivers now, I'll post my results.

I downloaded the 'latest' driver for the intel graphics chipset from their website. As I installed it, the installer informed that I was 'updating' to an older version of the driver, but I went ahead and gave it a shot. It worked for me. As I clicked through the main page to get to the driver I cannot tell you the link to it offhand, but the filename is win2k_xp141950
