Hi, I just ordered the Toshiba R10 and customized it for more RAM. Is the R10 identical to the R15, just with customizable features? Or is there some sacrifice of performance, other than CPU speed, for the lower price?

    Thanks!

The R10 is the exact same build and has the same overall features as the R15. Which processor did you opt for?

Thanks, that's good news. I'm not sure if the notebook came with Microsoft OneNote. Would you recommend buying that?

For the processor, I just went for the standard Celeron 1.3 ghz. It should suffice for word processing and browsing and Minesweeper. If I feel like doing anything graphics intensive, I can use my desktop.

You're right, you made a good economical choice. As for OneNote, you can get a free trial, so you might give that a whirl first to see if you'd even use it. I think it's a great app, but not everyone needs it.
