    I have a "brand-specific 'what should I buy?'"question. Can I ask here? Or where should I ask?

    Hi,

It all depends on what you want to do with a tablet.
    Are you an artist?
    - Simple drawings/graphics or 3D rendering?
    Do you play games?
Do you want a tablet to simply write on and do every-day tasks? (Word processing, Internet, Email, etc)

The list goes on and on. To find a specific Tablet PC that will fit your needs, we all need to know what you plan to do with one. :)

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Anyway, I think I'll go ahead and ask here:

I have been looking up slates for quite some time now, and am unable to decide between the Fujitsu ST5000 series and Motion Computing LE1600. Can somone help?
Also can someone tell me the difference between the ST5020 and ST5032 models other than the fact that ST5020 is a close-out model, ready to ship, while ST5032 is not in stock?

I've heard a lot nicer things about the LE1600 myself. Check out the forum here, there's a section for both manufacturers.

I have checked out both forums (and many more), and Fujitsu came out better with its superiour support. Yet, I am looking to get a direct comparison of the two slates(Motion Computing LE1600 and Fujitsu 5000 series)- performance wise- not dry specs but from actual experience.
Can someone help me with that?

The only people who can help you there is someone who has used both :)
I would advise going into a store where they have them both set up on display, can you do that?

Unfortunately, I have not seen ANY slates in any stores. They haven't really taken the market by storm as they should have. :(
