I'm shopping the Gateway site for a new M285. When I add the bluetooth module, it seems to be a separate accessory. I don't really want that.

Question: Is the bluetooth support on the M285-E integrated, or is it a separate USB module?

    thanks!

This should be an internal module. Just to be sure you should contact Gateway (1-877-487-1129). An external device would be indicated as a USB or PCMCIA, etc. type of device.

Exactly what kind of Bluetooth module is it? 1.0/1.2/2.0? Does it support EDR?

    Thanks,
    Devin

I'll post the answer here once I get the unit. Scheduled to be late next week. I don't have those details yet.

Does anyone have an internal bluetooth module for the Gateway M285-E? Gateway won't sell it and Acer won't either, although someone posted on NotebookForum.com that they would. Help Help Help as I need this feature ASAP.
