I think i've seen a lot of people say their battery life sucks on Win 8
Then go for newer model with Haswell Processors. Better get Surface Pro 2 with Power keyboard or Fujitsu T734 with modular bay battery. If you need a high quality tablet PC with good performance and battery life then you have to pay more money. There is no short cut.
Well I just saw the pricetag on the T902...No thanks Jeff. Only a 100 difference from the base 904?! Yeah I think I'm stuck to choose between Flip 13 and Thinkpad Yoga. Gotta tey and get my hand on a Yoga tro see how heavy it is
I have a question, the pdf indicates that Q704 is available with 3G/4G option, however, I wasn't able to see the option in the online customize page (US/Canada online store) does anyone know if this option is available?
Not available in the US yet, it always take time for these options to be available here. I guess it is due to the control from US operators.
Should be available sometimes this year, but no info as of when exactly yet.
What about disassemble and upgrade by ourselves later?
Your guess is as good as mine
when i called a while back, their techs claimed you could order the internal card [once it's available--it's still in the certification process] and install it yourself.
I got a chance to play with the Q704 and I started a review.
Boy for once am I glad I waited for ever
With the surprise arrival of the Surface pro 3, no need to wonder about the Q704 any more.
With apparently 10% more power on the I5 configuration than the SP2 I5, this means about 50% more power on the SP3 than on the Q704, thinner lighter, All the accessories (Dock and Type keyboard) + stand. All that for 30% less money.
I am finally going to be able to buy my wife her laptop / desktop replacement
