I am not sure exactly. I went to the Dell Canada support site and used their "check your system" for drivers then install the newest version of each one. There were six or seven.....

Drivers & Downloads | Dell US

then click on "analyze system for updates"

I did this then downloaded the newest version of each recommended driver. During install there were two that said I had the most up to date one but if I remember there were six.

I'm having similar issues with my Venue Pro 5130 CPC (new official name is CPC - Complete Piece of Crap) and mobile keyboard. The battery monitor no longer recognizes the keyboard battery, simply saying Battery 2: Not Present.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone know what's up with this.

dell sent me a replacement keyboard because I was having problems with the keyboard and touchpad working (battery detected fine on that version).

The replacement mobile keyboard does not detect the battery on my 5130. The touchpad and keyboard work and LED lit up when charging via the USB port on the mobile keyboard, but I still get the "battery #2 not present" despite the latest updates/drivers/bios from Dell's site. I tried rolling back one BIOS update and that didn't help.

Curious if anyone else had or fixed this problem.
