Q1: Is it safe to assume that with the announcement of a NEW SP that the previous model gets a "decent" discount?

Q2: IF the next SP comes out with a quad core i7, will that be a NOTICEABLY SIGNIFICANT improvement over the current nSP i7?

    1. Usually.

    2. Single threaded applications... not so much unless the turbo is higher. Applications that use more than two cores... yes. Just read any review of the Surface Book 2 to know what to expect. Or a review for a Dell 5290.
