    Hi,

I would like to exchange some thoughts on power saving. Before the r1f with a t7200 processor I have been using an 1.4 Centrino. I used a program called Speedswitch, which slowed down the processor in such a way, that the fan was switched off most of the time or only running at slow pace.

Regarding The Asus I have tried various Power Schemes in Power4Gear, Windows built in stuff and nhc with patch applied. However I am still not really happy. Do you mange to scale down the processor so that the fan stops or at least slows down?

    Is it possible?

Use NHC to undervolt, I suppose.

Reduce brightness, turn off unneeded hardware.
