Something a bit different, basically trying to mimic brush and ink in Sketchbook Pro:

Woohoo, great new sketches frog! By the way, do you have a portfolio site where I can check out some of your "best" illustrations :p?

The new features in Sketchbook Pro 2010 looks very cool (I looked through the demo vids :)). If I had the money, I'd upgrade for sure (I'm still stuck with Alias Sketchbook Pro 1.0 that came with my tablet PC, in fact).

Anywho, here's another one of my colour work, done in Painter X:

Yeah, the perspective is way off... I originally wanted to give the viewer a distorted "looking up into the sky" feel, but that didn't work out well :/.

Thanks Triple Dude, I do have an illustration website which showcases my professional work, it's a bit different to the sketches I post here:

I bought Sketchbook Pro 2010 a couple of days ago, it's a lot cheaper than it used to be now. It's bloody fantastic, I love the rulers and the symmetry feature.

In fact I used the symmetry for this character design, makes it a lot quicker and simpler to draw a face head-on:

Here is a monster logo i am kind of happy with. I wasn't happy with it at first, but after messing with it i am at least willing to post it. When i feel finished with it, i will repost :D

Keep in mind i am a doodler, not a artist so my "art" won't be top notch :p

This was done in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2009.

Here is a more refined version of my origional drawing. I am stuck on how to finish it though, something just doesn't look right (missing words or something).

    Suggestions?

EDIT: WOW. I just looked at my two submitted drawings side by side and didn't realize how many changes i really made. It's nice seeing a drawing coming to fruition :p

    Nice roughs, Frog.

I like the top one best, as the character's movement away from a fairly light area into a dark one really sells the feeling of foreboding/dread you're obviously shooting for.

The bottom one doesn't quite have enough tonal range between background and foreground, in my opinion.
