Hey c-140x owners! Here is a thread to post your artwork! (must be done on a gateway tablet, c-140x prefered). Keep it clean guys, and let the drawing begin!

This is a quick drawing of same sort of gladiator/ warrior that I did in about 30 minutes. I know its not perfect, or even good for that matter, but I thought I could give you guys a demo. This is done with Artrage Free Addition, completely by hand and using the paintbrush tool entirely. (signature not considered)

I think I need to fix the legs... And he needs some massive chest hair! ...or not...

Not bad! Try painting the sky before the character and paint the whip and stuff over the sky. That way you won't have that gap of white between the two (unless, of course, that's your style).

Why'd you take a screen capture of the whole thing and not just save the painting? Was it to show the app's interface?

It would be cool to see a video and/or time-lapse of you working in Artrage.

    Waple:

Yeah I wasnt thinking about the sky or grass at first... and it turned out looking okish... and i tried saving the thing but it would only go as an artrage file. I think i need the full version of artrage to save as jpg or something.

    Nominal:

Can you give me the name of i program i can use to do that? I only know of fraps but thats for using with games only...

I don't know of any free ones. You could download a trial version of Camtasia Studio, but that expires after 30 days.

A quick alternative is to use the online flash paint program artpad.art.com. The website remembers each brush stroke and can play them back. Here's a quick example I did. Forgive the art, as I don't yet have my tablet ;).
