I'd like to poll owners of this tablet for their satisfaction with its operation. I realize that the fault could lay on Microsoft and Windows. However, I cannot separate that from the hardware and so am asking for overall satisfaction. Thank you.

I owned or tried almost every 8" . My favorite was the Asus Vivotab. It finally died so I was looking for a new tablet. So far this is great so I returned the new Dell venue 8. Pen is by far superior to others. I just wish there was 64 gb and not 32

Don't see any polls, maybe I need to use the web. All the same, I'm totally with you on this. Typing this on my Envy note 8 now. Pen is even better than the SB and SP3. HP almost had a winner on their hands and just shot themselves in the foot with a mere 32gb storage and maybe the weaker atom x5 CPU. Everything else is great on this device, the slimmer profile (can comfortably hold it in one hand), the high resolution screen and even the battery life isn't bad at all.

It's a great device except for that paltry egregious HD 32GB space.
Maybe the next one will have a core M processor.

We should aim higher ...at least 128gb HD/4gb ram.

Do you think HP will create another version of this? Microsoft store has these on sale for $199 which is a great value considering a pen is included.
