Any chance to have this ported to eee Note?
    PoDoFo

The M92 Onyx ereader uses their libraries for PDF reading
The Onyx application is also running on a unix kernel
Maybe someone could look at it an could tell if this is indeed portable.

The sources of their applications can be found here

    https://github.com/onyx-intl

I am not a programmer, please excuse my suggestion and my question if it sounds dumb.

    thanks

    Hi,

A quick look at the project page suggests pdofo would be rather simple to compile using the eeenote toolchain.

There are some threads in this forum about compiling command line apps using the toolchain.

Onyx looks to be an android app which would require java runtime, with all of the android patches. Onyx would be very difficult, if not impossible to port.

    Hi mp035

    thanks for replying
No, Onyx is not android based. We are all trying to figure out why the Android references are there. Maybe they have plans in that respect....
Above I was asking just about PoDoFo... I did not think about porting Android to eee Note ..which would be nice by the way :-D
