I'd be delighted if they put a wheel menu interface in Windows Journal. Sub-menus are so '90s.

The Plumbago development team has announced that an updated version of the application has been posted at the Store. This update contains the most requested items that bubbled to the top of the feedback wish list that they could find time to fit in, including:

    · Portrait support Create notebooks in portrait orientation.

    · Calligraphy Pen tool Practice the art of calligraphy or enhance your drawings.

    · Cloud syncing Sync your notebooks across devices and store them in the cloud with Microsoft OneDrive.

    · Save as PDF Save your entire notebook as a PDF file for easy sharing, archiving, or importing into other applications.

    · Quicker warmup for handwriting smoothing Plumbago remembers your stroke style between notebook sessions, which makes for quicker and more noticeable handwriting smoothing effects.

    · Performance enhancements, as well as several other minor bugs

The team wants you to know that feedback is always appreciated.

Huge improvement. Pen tool has pressure sensitivity! Zero smoothing works! Portrait mode works! Export to PDF! The worst bugs are gone. Now that it's usable... what are the project's goals? Integrate into OneNote? Become more like ArtRage, Drawboard PDF, Windows Journal? The core concept works, so what's next?

To ATIVQ and anyone else interested in Plumbago: Don't ask what's next; jump on the Plumbago forum (see Post #12, 16 or 17) and tell the Plumbago Team where you'd like them to go! They're asking for your feedback, so don't waste the opportunity to weigh in on the next round of refinements to this interesting app!

I must be a dinosaur, but I really can't stand the layout of "forums" on Reddit. And newer sites like Smith Micro's forums are even worse:: https://forum.smithmicro.com/

Never change, TabletPCReview! (Except to make it easier to embed images).

    Uhhhh.... OK....

Was there some reason why you wanted to raise this particular issue...?!??

Ah. My fault. I dropped a "2" in the post number: It should have said Post #12. I've corrected my posting.

The Plumbago feedback forum is on Microsoft Garage; you can pose an idea for an update and other users can vote it up (or not). Similarly, you can upvote someone else's suggestion. I think you get 5 votes...

Unfortunately "zero smoothing" doesn't really mean zero smoothing with the latest version, once again.
