Hi, I was wondering if the site admins could re-enable SSL encryption for TPCR.

This is a pretty standard feature on almost all modern forum platforms, and I feel a tech-oriented site like this one deserves at least this minimum level of security.

Currently, there is privacy risk for unencrypted passwords and personal info in private messages, that users should at least be warned about, if not secured by SSL.

    Thanks.

Agreed. Plus if they want to kill two birds with one stone, wildcard encryption is now freely available via Let’s Encrypt as well. I use a single wildcard encryption certificate for a domain and about four subdomains on a Virtualmin/Webmin managed VPS and it works flawlessly for auto renewal.

This is a request I have in but it has not been addressed. When you see HTTPS in the address bar, it's been addressed. (No ETA, sorry.)
