I need a tablet for photoshop. i would like to spend under $1700. i have looked at the gateway and the M200 size does not matter I just need something that when i load my 10mp pic there will be little to no pin lag.

    thanks

A fast HD and lots of RAM will be your best bets. Also, if you're using it to store pics while on the road, a smaller tablet may be better suited then lugging around a bigger heavier tablet. The single core M400 really won't perform any better then any other tablet out there today with the same specs (CPU speed, HD speed, etc) so you may be able to get a lower priced tablet and max out the ram. I can't stress enough that below 5400 RPM HD with Photoshop will be intolerable.

Yeah I would suggest you do poet. Photoshop is not only fun to use but very useful. You can make a lot of money designing for companies if you are good at it.

    Not that I am....:(
