Seems like a typical case of the marketing department screwing up. The spec-sheet I linked to for the 2017 Envy 17 (HP ENVY Laptop 17m-ae011dx) definitely talks about a pen, and says this: Additional product features • Pen-enabled: Write, draw, and edit on a device with full support for Windows Inking features. Thanks to Microsoft's Universal Pen standards, any Universal Pen accessory will let you rewrite your PC experience. • Windows Ink: Bring your ideas to life with the power of a digital pen and your imagination. The official website for the 2017 edition of the 17" and 13" does not mention any pen though: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/envylaptops/overview.html But that website also includes a wrong video for the 2016 edition. That website also mentions a 4K option, which the spec sheets however do not mention. And the spec-sheet for the 13" also doesn't mention a pen. I guess we have to wait for some more specs to be published to really know whether this is pen-enabled.
