I just dicovered that there's new qt application that uses xpdf framwork, though not using X.org!

    Pdf Viewer Qt-Apps.org

I'm not sure that it could work, but it would be worth!! No more files that we can't see because of unknown reasons!

It has a search string feature, clickable links and other things that can be customized (such maybe full screen).

Now, I don't think I have time for that, but I'll check maybe...

    ... good find :0

Note: it only views pages as a continuous flow at the moment, rather than showing one page at a time. Knowing how annoying it is to use a scrollbar on the Eee Note, this will be a bit fiddly...

Well, I think it can be patched maybe.. or at least there would be faster rendering?

It's based on poppler, main headache with this library.

Few days ago i've built muPDF library for eeenote and simple qt gui for it.

This gui can do only 5 things - to open file, zoom in, zoom out, go forward and go back.

i can't say that this is a useful app - looks like library itself have some glitches and there is almost no any even basic functions. but it's quick. really quick.

Sure, Luis, not a problem. I wish to experiment with this lib to force it to display some large pdf files, which don't work with asus reader too. Not sure in success, but it shouldn't take more then 1-2 days.

Here comparation of same pdf page view in native reader and mupdf:

Yeah! D. Goryachev is back in business! Now I am exporting every pdf into djvu and reading them in DJViewReader which works much more faster! If muPdf will be faster it would be amazing! D. Goryachev amaze us again, please!

P.S. Only one problem with DJViewReader is annoying me - it is impossible to use button "select image and copy" for pasting into note because it exports not in *.gif:(
