Outdoor Viewability- comparison pics and discussion of tablet pcs being used outdoors

    I can't believe in an entire thread on this that no one mentioned transflective LCDs, which "just work" and are perfectly viewable in even the brightest sunlight --- the problem is they're a bit dimmer indoors.

    Well, most of us use these devices in a host of different environments, and transflexive screens are shown to not work particularly well indoors. Additionally, there really aren't any current models out that support pen input- or atleast none that I know of. Pen input is pretty critical for many/ all of us on these boards, so any display without it is automatically out of the running. Do you know of some transflective current/ semi-currentl devices that support pen input ? I'd atleast be curious enough to explore them as I'm sure they'd also be rugged.
