Only 1MB L2 cache memory? I thought they all came with 2MB

The RM-70 has 1MB (2X512kb) while the ZM Turions have 2MB (2X1MB) cache.

You think that'd be a huge downgrade for the people who decided to pick it up?

Yeah, I noticed that. I almost bought from Best Buy but then I ordered it from HP direct due to the L2 Cache

Nah, not really. The difference between 1MB cache and 2MB cache for AMD cpu's isn't huge. There will be some cases where the cache might make a noticeable difference but overall you only probably see max ~5% benefit with the 2MB cache(of course at the same clock speed). In fact, the difference between the RM-70(2.0GHz, 1MB cache) and the ZM-80(2.1GHz, 2MB cache) wont at all be noticeable during general usage. The clock speed would be the bigger differentiator rather than the L2 cache in this case.

ZM processors are the ones with 2 MB L2 Cache, they're the Turion Ultras.

RM processors are the standard Turion processors, with 1 MB L2 Cache.

QL processors are the Athlon branded processors on notebooks/tablets.

The AMD Turion sticker on your tablet/notebook will tell whether you have a ZM or RM processor if you're unsure; those with ZM processors will have Ultra written on the AMD sticker, ;)
