I'm really not sure how to use OneNote. I know I'll need to take notes at seminars I go to and OneNote is probably what I'll need. But I'm really not sure where to start.

Are there any good tutorials and whatnot that would be helpful?

When you start ON, the defauly notebook includes tutorial sessions to get you going. I'd start there.

The best way is to just start playing around with it, thats how I got used to it.

Start a new page and scribble all over, play with highlighting/pen options, text conversion, ect..

Learn tags- I love em :)

I'd start by organizing it... make a notebook for school, then a section group for this semester, then a section group for each class. Make notes you take on readings/homework subpages of your class notes or vice versa. Use sections within a class to make broad categories.

So how many levels can you have in the hierarchy of sections?

You can keep creating section groups within section groups, that's the only point I'm aware of in the hierarchy that can expand. I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many you can make.
