I seem to only be able to specify a size or pick full auto. I'd like 8.5 width pages with infinite length so I know the size I am making things, but can have multiple real pages per digital page.

    Any ideas?

Oh, sorry, I did not see that we had a OneNote sub forum. This can be moved if necessary, though I guess it would get less exposure there...

Impossible, you can't define the width while having infinite height.

My solution was to create a template with a red vertical line at the right side which shows me how far I can write. And to set the zoom factor to the value which only shows the writeable area.

I'm less crazy about the red line idea. If you do it, you'll find it nearly impossible to remove white space. I could not remove white spare until I deleted the redline....after getting pissed that a 15 pg assignment was going to have 5 pages of nothing.

If you still want to do it, change a blank page to letter size. Draw a red line down the right edge of the page and keep going. Change the page size back to auto and select the option on the right to save it as a template.

Not a bad idea if you don't mind a bit of clean up just before printing.

That's the way you have to do it. But, as he also said, before you print it you have to resize every container which exceeds the red line to the minimum width or until it is below the red line. After you've done that, hope, and then take a look at the print preview, if something does not fit then you've missed a container.

Well, because of that and thousand other bugs and strange features I stopped using ON.
