U wot mate? That's ... impossible, the warp charge is a proprietary 5V 6A charger, wtf!
No, this usually means the warp charger supports warp charging (5V/6A) as well as normal USB (5V/2A) AND non-advertised USB PD (12v/2A)
(Assuming that OP is talking about OM2). If OP is talking about OM1, OM1 uses just 5V
Only way to confirm is to check the voltage on the cable (either a proper USB voltmeter, or if windows/Linux exposes the charging details/handshaking)
I was in the process of taking a picture of the setup to show that it is indeed working when I realized that I had the USB-C cable still plugged into my Yojock 30W (https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Delivery-Adapter-MacBook-Samsung/dp/B075FQJ5HK). <facepalm>. @chx1975, thank you for calling it out. I got it totally wrong. back to square one with my backpack planning.
BTW, geekbuying has one mix 3s for preorder
256GB + 8GB + m3-8100y, $779 om3
512GB + 16GB + m3-8100y, $899 om3s
512GB + 16GB + i7-8500y, $1199 om3s platinum edition
(Geekbuyinf has some coupons)
Ships in 8 days. 3s/3s platinum product description still has the m.2 slot. Geekbuying says i7 is quad (which is wrong)
Intel ark has m3-8100y at $281 and i7-8500y at $393 (+$112), laptop has big markup (+$300)
+$120 markup between om3 and om3s isnt as bad.... If you are willing to pay for om3, you should pay the markup $ and get om3s, though p2 Max would be cheaper
Im eyeing the 3S personally but waiting for a better coupon/deal... ~$900-1000 is a hard pill to swallow when I can get something like a Matebook 13 with discrete graphics for around that much. Also want to see reviews with specifics as far as battery life, PD charging compatibility, upgrade-ability is concerned.
Also, should we move over to the other thread and leave this one for One Mix 2/2S only discussion?
someone from Reddit found a Japanese YouTube video of someone who got their hands on a OneMix3 review unit and he did a side-by-side comparison against the OneMix 2s and the Pocket2.
I bought onemix2s in May and till the last days it worked well.
Now I have the following battery problem.
Windows shows the battery capacity 0 %. But the device works from
battery and charges well.
Battery report in Windows (powercfg /batteryreport) shows the large
capacity (32,000). As I understand it is more than the actual
capacity. So now I can't see the charge of the battery (it shows only
0% percent). So far I have been using only the original charger which
was shipped with my device.
There is no so much information about my problem in the Internet (i
met only some information concerning laptops with removable battery
like asus and dell)
Any help will be appreciated!
@bestscientist sorry to hear about your issue. my battery's still humming along fine.
I have noticed something odd with my Bluetooth though. After a while of being on, all my Bluetooth peripherals (mouse, keyboard) would stop responding. I've tried turning bluetooth off and then on again, but nothing works until usually a reboot. Sometimes, even a reboot doesn't solve the issue and bluetooth remains unresponsive.
Not sure if it's a overheating thing.
Anybody else experience this?
I used to sometimes get Bluetooth interruptions (both for my bt keyboard and headphones), but I blamed problems with the Linux support for that. This would for with the observation that I haven't noticed any interruptions/disconnects for a while, suggesting that improvements on the firmware/kernel may have helped. I haven't used Bluetooth on Windows enough to say for sure whether problem was really exclusive to Linux, but that was my impression.
Not had any problems with battery except it's at 8% wear after about 4 months of usage. Not had any bluetooth issues in windows but don't use bluetooth much with it.
One thing I have noticed is that the screen has a slight discoloration on the right-hand-side, which is gradually getting larger. It's not that noticeable but it's a bit concerning.
