Now, if only they would actually put the dam thing in their own Notebook 9 Pen! What a dream device that would be!

Samsung, whyyyy would you not use this beauty in your own products?

(A day is not complete without a gripe about an OEM :D)

Largest manufacturer of OLED screens gonna b China's BOE. But they just started production so have to meet more urgent demands like smafos. Pretty soon u could buy a cheap Chinese tablet and it will come with OLEDs...

Samsung n Co aren't even gonna b major players when BOE (eventually) ramps up production to full capacity.

What's up Steve, interesting topic you got here - it got my attention. There are a lot of OLED TV models available out there but the monitors' situation is not the same. In march 2019 (I believe) more info was added about the ASUS proart PQ22UC monitor, it will hit £4,799 (~$6,300) price, if you are interested refer to this article for more details, though they also mentioned that the monitors size would be only 21.6".

...I think that OLED monitors like this are going to have a problem at these prices. My Dell UltraSharp UP2718Q monitor features zoned backlighting and true HD performance and is currently selling for about $1500:

I have a color-calibrated Sony Brava OLED TV, and I can tell you that the Dell monitor closely matches its performance.

Personally, I'm hoping that Microsoft issues a monitor based on the Studio 2; I'd seriously consider giving up a bit of color accuracy in exchange for getting pen and touch capability!
