I was told by HP to be sure to get the equally match pairs and not 1 or 3 gigs of ram. That performance in matched pairs is worth it.

I set up my finger print reader. I see when in slate mode that the reader is on the right side. Hm.. now I see why they let you configure what hand and finger.

I just need one more gig of ram eh? *shrug* I've already spent 900 dollars on it, what's an extra 30 right?

Does anyone have any make recommendations?

How do the 2500 series handle ram? Is it two expandable slot or is it one of those one integrated ram and one expandable slot?

I have been messing with my 2500 all day. I am not sure why doing a fresh install of Vista is a good idea with a new computer. I plan on putting mine thru the paces before I do anything that dramatic.

anyway I am very impressed with the 2500.

I have no idea what all these numbers mean but if it helps anyone my score from the info page is: 3.6

    I have the pre-built 2510: 2.1, 3gb, 250, Vista 32.

some people made it sound like it was gonna fall apart outta the box. Things didn't go 100% perfect with my first day but some of that is me and some of that is Apple some of it was Vista. All-in-all I wasn't as dissapointed and feared from comments made. But... it is only day one.

Interesting. I have had similar questions. I've got Vista 64, a 2.1ghz ZM-80, 4gb of RAM. My lowest score is gaming graphics and it's 3.8. I've tried the drivers that came installed, and newer drivers as well. Nothing brings this up to 4.0. I have no idea why.
