Is the A04 an exclusive model to the MS Store perhaps?

I can confirm this one I purchased at the MS store this morning is 128GB and Windows 7 Professional, but not dock available (seems like there was an empty place in the box for it). I did an in place upgrade to Ultimate, no problem, but the Office 2010 that was pre-installed wouldn't accept my existing key so I had to uninstall and reinstall the bits.

I've spent most of the afternoon installing and configuring software including Office 2010, Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5, Chrome and extensions, etc. Watching Blizzcon and a football game in the background while typing this, I'm pretty impressed with how well this thing chugs long.

How were you able to upload all these nice pics? I thought one can only upload the size of 17-19K?

Did you try to turn on TPM in the BIOS settings?

Has someone tried the 'silent fan mode' to see what exactly it does? Does it throttle speeds instead using the fan?

In case anyone is curious like I am about how the new Samsung 7 Slate fits into the mix from a size perspective I laid it out in CAD with some of the others in my database.

    Black - HP Slate 500 8.9" 16:9
    Gold - Samsung 7 Slate 11.6" 16:9
    Green - Fujitsu Q550 10.1" 16:10
    Red - Asus EP121 12.1" 16:9

Still didn't mention which model got the "WiMAX and HSPA connection" described in the news press.

WWAN connectivity = built-in GPS because they always built in the same chip these days.
