I guess this will be the official T902 thread then.

jan_c has posted a tutorial on how to do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit for the T902

There were a couple of very active T902 threads months ago: T901 vs. T902 and T902 instock at Newegg.com.

Lots of good info in those, but I agree having a dedicated, official T902 stickied thread (like the T901 one) would be nice.

If anyone has the model with the backlit keyboard , pictures will be appreciated.

Fujitsu introduced the backlit keyboard for the T902 with the introduction of Windows 8.

No Windows 7 based models come with it based on what I've seen.

Your right. I would love to know of any other hardware changes that were made to the T902 with the windows 8 version as well. What on earth changed about the processor that requires it to have a different option "windows 8 logo system"?? Or different digitizer or different power transformer?? It's really wierd, I can't wait for someone who has a new T902 windows 8 version to join the forums and set some things straight for us...

    Probably a hardware "refresh."

Maybe the original T902 had some design quirks Fujitsu didn't like, so they made a T902 1.1?

Is T902 screen THAT much better than T901? I look at spec, I'd say T902 is overall 15-20 percents better than T901. We have a few unopened T902 here, maybe we should trade them back with more T901 refurbished units. Sorry I ask here, I think many also want to know the difference, but few have both and compare them.

1600 x 900 vs. 1200 x 800. To me that is enough difference to give me a significant amount of breathing room in a painting or animation program.
The T902's slimmer profile and streamlined size is certainly a welcome change too.
