Did you check the BIOS to see if the computer has a "quiet" setting?

    Hi,

Does anyone have info on the color accuracy of the T901 display? Notebookcheck has stats on the contrast and brightness but not the sRGB or aRGB numbers.
I am trying to compare the screens of T901 and T902 for an upgrade from T4220.

Color accuracy is important for the photo/graphics work I need to do.
I understand that T902 has higher DPI and very good contrast and color saturation, but the sRGB is only about 65%. T901 has a lower resolution and slightly less contrast, but is the color gamut coverage better than T902?

Is anyone willing to argue that the T902 screen is clearly superior to T901? or is it a matter of personal preference?

Also, how different is the T901 display different from the standard T4220 screen?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately there seems to be no information regarding the T901 color accuracy. Only the T902 has that information available.
The T902 ranges from 65% to 70% depending on the review/spec sheet . Since the T902 screen is an overall improvement over the T901 screen in every department, I would venture to guess it has equal to if not superior color range. There are several photographers on this forum who use the T902 and stated they loved it, so I think it is at least standard color accuracy if not manageable. For me, it is often a touch more rich than it looks on other monitors. Perhaps that is the contrast ratio, but I find for color range it feels perfect.
Out of curiosity I took the color swatch test : Color Test - Online Color Challenge | X-Rite
and using the T902 screen and taking my time I got 100% color acuity first try (not one mistake in all 4 bars!!) so that's gotta say something.

I am just using the Windows 8 drivers from Fujitsu's support website. Make sure to download the 64-bit drivers though if you are using Windows 8.1 64-bit.
