Note 8 digitizer failed... and ASUS tech support fixed it.

    In Step 8, instead of leaving it in the sun, I'd bake it in the oven(w/ the squirrel)
    @350 degrees and 30 minutes later, presto chango dinner and a repaired tablet
    :)

    Well, mine is taking a very long time to self destruct then! Besides, above list doesn't mention voodoo...

    A few weeks ago I installed a Windows update. I noticed a few days afterwards that the pen no longer worked. Device Manager showed an exclamation point next to the Wacom device and nothing could get it to go away. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. I searched online and nothing seemed to work.

    On a whim, I ran CCleaner which cleared out unneccesary files and then I ran Registry fix (I do both at the same time whenever I run CCleaner). After a reboot, my pen began working once again. I'm not certain what happened but the pen has been working fine ever since.
