It was $8999 for the 50-inch. The new 85-inch one they announced is $21,999.

It may be Super Expensive now, but in two years it could be quite affordable.

Ebay right now has a flood of pre-owned and new first gen Hub 1's for all sorts of prices below the 5K mark, some even for even below 2k, which isn't that bad for a 55 inch monitor that retailed for 10 times that price when released. I've played around with a Hub 1 at Microsoft Stores on occasion, the pen and screen quality is kind of garbage, and while I haven't seen the Hub 2 in person yet, its changeover to pixelsense makes it more potentially viable. But in a few years when a company decides to upgrade or sell off its older tech (as I'm certain is the case with all these Hub 1's) I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually see Hub 2's floating on ebay for similar 2K price points.

I'm pretty sure that this is made by some anonymous Chinese company. I have seen this same pillow in retail stores including Barnes and Noble and Bed Bath and Beyond for those that might want to actually see/try one. My daughter uses hers with her iPad Pro

So the prospect of new surface hardware this fall is a real snooze fest I take it?
