I still get confused. If I choose the customized m200 with 512Mx1 RAM, 80G HD(5200rpm), without bluetooth, it will cost 1790. But, apart from the CPU and XGA display, M400 (preconfigured model) with similar configurations will only cost 1699.
I do not understand the marketing and pricing policy of Toshiba. Under this pricing policy, who is going to buy M200?

By the way, Brian, can you tell me under what condition will SXGA be a necessary (eg. for graphic software? for watching DVD?)

I predict the m200 will drop in price soon. Apple did the same thing, the new intel versions were the same price as their predecessors for a while.

And, if I add a external USB DVD/CD-RW drive for M200, it will then cost 2015!!!
Really do not understand!!!

sxga for a 12'' screen is silly, it's small enough as it is

Does anyone know if the M400 still has the tri mic array as it did in the M200? I remember reading that they removed a mic from the screen...I didn't see it specified in the specs...maybe I was missing it somewhere?

The customize portion of the website is back up on the Toshiba site. It HAS to be a mistake, because if you customize to the preconfig tablet that's for sale, it's STILL $241 more!!!

I kinda doubt this price is a mistake. After pulling the initial price it would be pretty unlikely that they would put up another wrong price. It is a bit higher than I hopped, but not more than what people will pay (perhaps me being one of them).
