That's the bad news: I had a key. I suspect there is a way to get the key from our tablets... But no idea.

    Sent from my Nexus 6P

As it doesn't come with W10Pro you need a key.
If you install W10Home, it get's automatically activated. No need for a key.

I recently got a new Dell Venue 8 Pro. Now I want to buy a stylus for it, but I'm completely confused (thanks to Dell updating things but never renaming them...).

Can I buy a Bamboo Smart pen for it or not? No site names the Venue 8 Pro 5855 as compatible, but everywhere else I read it had Wacom AES. Which is what the Bamboo Smart pen is for...

That does cover the Toshiba, but not the Dell :p I already found that table in my search.

It looks like I'll not be ordering a pen online then, but rather go to a store with my tablet and see if it works....

Hey, I'm using a Bamboo Smart pen on my VP8 5855 and it's working great on it!

I was looking at Wacom pens at a local shop, but they've made a mess of it. There seems to be a milion versions, of which a milion minus one are simple generic touchscreen sausage kind of pens. There was one I think might maybe have worked, but I couldn't try it as it didn't contain a battery.

Can the 8" tablet still be bought in the USA or is it discontinued? Can anyone provide me a source. I didn't see it on Dell's site.
