A faster surface 3 would be perfectly fine with me.

A proper Surface Pro 5 (or 6) with a radical or at least substantial redesign.

The Pro 4 and nSP(5) were just extensions of that base Pro 3 design.

We would need something as radical as the Pro 2 to Pro 3. I could see them omitting USB Type A for just Type C just to make the device thinner. (probably no thunderbolt 3)

Also I would like to see the return of the 10-inch device form factor. Maybe not a "Non Pro" Surface.....but literally they should offer the next gen Surface Pro in 10.6 & 12.3 inch sizes.

If it won't fit in my pocket, they've already failed.

Same here. After the disappointing London non-event last month, I'll believe it when I see it.

If they can do it without the slow EMMC then I'm in.

A sub-$600 ARM-based Windows tablet would be just the thing for the penny-pinched Surface fans, especially college students, who don't quite yet have the pocketbook for the heavy hitters. I know lots of college students who want the latest and greatest, shiny Surface products but can't afford even the lowest model Surface Pro due to the pricing. I am seeing a lot of college students buy refurbished Surface Pro 3's and 4's just so they can join the cool club and jump up on the Surface bandwagon. If Microsoft offered an ARM-based Surface, I could see this sub-$600 Surface serve as a gateway product of sorts for college students that does not break the bank, along the lines of Apple's $329 iPad. This way, these people will get invested in the brand early on so once they are into their careers, they will be much more likely to throw down the "kilobuck" sums on Surface Books and Surface Studios.

We may have to wait until 845 or 850 to see performance match or surpass it. But, rumor is Samsung has a few month exclusive on the 845 for S9 and whatever tablet they have planned to bring out along side it.
