Just to make sure, you did install windows on the spare m.2 drive yeah?
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, And on my regular 2.5" drive. Clean installs.
I am using an 850 EVO 2.5" SSD so I cannot comment on the m.2 slot but yes, I can confirm 16GB works fine. Not a hint of trouble replacing the stock 8GB module with a 16GB one.
I had this exact same problem after installing a new/larger SSD and doing a clean install of 10. What did the trick was installing the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver (which I believe it NOT listed as an available driver update for my 20FY TP Yoga 14/460). I got it from the Yoga 260's page. I also think I had to manually launch the executable but now I have a tab for sensors in Device Manager (with for 3 entries for HID sensor collection v2 listed) and auto-rotation works great.
Thanks. This also solves the issue of windows not changing into tablet mode when folding the screen into "presentation mode." I had to fold all the way into tablet mode. It also stopped the issue of the trackpad staying on with the screen in "presentation mode."
The Best Buy Thinkpad Yoga 14 is on sale this week. Can be had for $649.99 or $553.99 open-box!!
Does anyone know if you could use the m2 slot for an external gpu adapter?
On new year's day a few of my key caps broke off and I called Lenovo and they'll be sending me a replacement keyboard. Does anyone have any tips on replacing the keyboard? I heard that it is more difficult than the traditional ones due to the lifting tray, but I haven't not been able to find a video on it.
@kirayamato26 , here you will find the complete instructions:
@kvoram Thank you very much, that's exactly what I've been looking for! It looks like more hassle than the X201T that I used to own, but still looks very manageable.
Edit: Replaced it hassle free! As good as new.
