It seems like a new pen display model or manufacturer pops up every day. Today I learned about the XP-Pen Artist 22, which seems to be similar to the Ugee UG-2150.

With Bosto, Huion, Yiynova, and Monoprice also in the mix, I think there should be a separate section for pen displays so that we can post what we know about them. I'm mostly interested in learning which of these devices share similar internals.

Very good idea. For example; I would like to know if any portable USB or Wi-Fi display has pen or touch support. Maybe something to bring along on rainy days to Starbucks.

Twitter is to communications as haiku is to literature.

The Lenovo Thinkvision LT-1423p offers pen (don't remember whether it supports touch too).

How about creating a general discussion thread in the Hardware Forum and I'll pin it to the top of the forum?

The problem is the variety of brands. I think each needs its own thread instead of having to search within a long generic one.

I still can't see making this a separate forum. You've mentioned five brands in the posts above, and we could easily pin five (or six or seven...) individual discussion threads to the top of the Artist Forum or the Hardware Forum (although I think that the former might make more sense). Given that some of these displays may not have a very long retail life, a discussion thread seems more appropriate...

I'm not hard over on this, and I'm happy to let other moderators or forum members weigh in on the best way forward. My only thought is that forums should be added carefully, and only after it's determined that the existing forum structure can't be used...

The real problem for me seems to reside more in the actual number of users of these devices.
I could go on for long talking about the goods (a few) and the bads (more then a few) of the Asus PT201Q but how many people would actually know hands on what I'm talking about?

    Sorry for that! Corrected.
