The increase in RAM is the feature I'm most looking forward to on the iPad 3. I'm tired of not being able to switch between two big web pages without one of them needing to reload. I'm hoping the new model can handle this better.

    Ed,
It is so wierd to see you here at TPCR. I used to be a regular over at BH and remember you patrolling and helping over there.

Note the left panel under my name..."moving up from iPaq." I spent many a night over there myself. I still have my 4705 and 210, still hacked to the extreme and still functional. But, having a fully functional computer in my hand is an amazing feet these days.

    Welcome to the tablet world!

Ed has actually been around TPCR for quite some time. He took the reigns when the original iPad launched, and his love for all devices mobile brings him back time and time again. He'll also be handling the new iPad review for the site, for which I'm eternally grateful. Especially after learning it will be an 8AM launch on Friday, and not in the afternoon -- I get to sleep on Thursday night!
